About us
In recent years, we decided to enter the welfare equipment business and joined “Kawasaki Welfare Innovation.” Leveraging the solid technical expertise and planning and development capabilities we have cultivated over many years, we developed the “BV SHOWER ARM” bathroom assistive device as a symbol of this initiative.
This product positions the showerhead 20 cm forward from the wall and allows for vertical and horizontal angle adjustments, significantly reducing the strain of bathing for a wide range of users, including those with lower back pain, joint pain, or rheumatism, as well as pregnant women, the elderly, and caregivers. It features simple installation—requiring no construction work, as it simply plugs into an existing shower hook—and its lightweight design (300g), combining plastic and stainless steel, makes it easy to carry.
It has been recommended by technical advisors at the Yokohama City Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center and is widely used in everything from private homes to care facilities, and even for bathing service dogs for people with disabilities. High praise from users—such as “Bathing has become more enjoyable” and “The burden of caregiving has been reduced”—is a testament to our track record and reliability as a manufacturer of assistive devices. Matsuhashi Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in metal cutting and metalworking, based in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Since our founding in Showa 40, we have provided high-quality metalworking technology under the motto: “Manufacturing that stands up to global standards; manufacturing that brings smiles to people around the world.” With a comprehensive range of processing equipment, including NC automatic lathes and press machines, we are capable of meeting a wide variety of metalworking needs. Since Heisei 12, we have been engaged in the OEM planning, development, and manufacturing of decorations and fixtures for amusement facilities, building up a wealth of experience in this field.
